MARCH 2026
What can I say? It was another inspiring event. Lots of good info, great presentations from excellent writers. Good break-out sessions. Got to share it with my pals Nico, a children’s book author and long-time friend and encourager, Colleen Davidson.
MARCH 2025
This was my 4th year attending the Pasadena Festival of Women Authors, which features an amazing collection of women authors. There were beautiful presentations from authors, excellent break-out sessions, and lots of great exchanges with other writers and readers, too. I was also lucky enough to sit at the table hosted by actress Kathy Baker!

Spent a week in Montecito, California, at the Writer's In-Residence retreat sponsored by Kathryn Kay (A Writer Within). This was a writing-intensive experience with 7 other women who also had works in progress. We enjoyed fantastic views from this spectacular mansion. Kathryn hired a private chef and kept the wine flowing. We lacked nothing in comfort and were able to dive deeper into our work and share experiences with fellow writers. So worthwhile.
